Dialogue DEI milestones

Many PwDs have been mainstreamed economically through the initiative over a span of 12 years as DID only hires Persons with Visual Impairment for conducting / facilitating it’s dark experiences
DID experience mandated by the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education (Telangana State) - A visit to Dialogue in the Dark for all the Principals of Government Degree Colleges
DID - DESI (Diversity Education for Social Inclusion) Program for Schools and Colleges has been recommended by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt of India, New Delhi
DID experience Mandated for all IAS Trainees at MCRHRD Institute, Government of Telangana and Administrative Staff College of India as an internal training program
G.O. 27 issued by Government of unified Andhra Pradesh for promoting awareness of visually impaired - a visit to the Dialogue in the Dark (did) exhibition for all India service officers and HODs

Why is this 3E model essential for you?

  • RPWD Act 2016 mandates every employee in all establishments to be sensitised about people with disability & their inclusion
  • Leave No One Behind : The UN SDG 2030 goal emphasises the pwd sector to be included aross all the 17 SDG goals.
  • ESG norms in India: SEBI stipulates that the disclosure must be made through a new format, namely the Business Responsibility And Sustainability Report (BRSR). BRSR reporting has been made mandatory from FY 2022-23. D&I education by desination falls under the s – social aspects of the ESG norms.
  • The Transgender Persons (protection of rights) Act, 2019 mandates educational institutes and establishments to practice inclusion of transgender persons.
