How DID it all start in India?
In 2010, while waiting for his delayed flight at Atlanta City – USA, our Founder Mr. S V Krishnan came across an intriguing exhibition of Dialogue in the Dark and decided to go through the 45 minute immersive dark experience in order to kill time. Little did he know that the experience was going to set him on a decade long journey of powerful social impact.
Mr. Krishnan was humbled and amazed by how being able to connect with a visually impaired person at a basic human level was so simple & empowering. He felt this would make a significant impact in creating awareness of social inclusion in Indian society given our diverse demographics with respect to Disability.
As a culmination of this idea, Mr. Krishnan & his wife Mrs. Sudha Krishnan founded Dialogue in the Dark in India in 2010 by setting up the first dark exhibition center in Hyderabad.

DesiNation has come with a unique module that covers all 21 disabilities in a comprehensive and sensitive manner. The instruction is not in a preachy mode but in an interactive mode.
I strongly recommend the DesiNation E-Learning video lessons to everyone in the corporate, education and government sector; to sensitize them on Disability, its Diversity and need for Inclusion.
It helps me develop empathy and more capable of dealing with diversity both as an individual and as a an industry person where we want to encourage and respect diverse people.
Your effort is commendable. People are not able or disable, our thinking is. If we can change the mindsets of people through these videos, it will go a long way in building a sustainable, equitable and inclusive world for us all
Desniation microlessons on disability inclusion are extremely good to sensitize our employees on the subject matter. Since these content are short and crisp, it is easier to learn and also the fact that the content is followed by an assessment ensures
People say visual impairment is a challenge, today our visually impaired guide Faizal has shown that a visually impaired person can show the way to 10 other people.
A great sensitization tool, everyone should visit Dialogue in the Dark and realise that blind people are not disabled but differently abled.
A very important experience to pause and give value & importance to Persons with Disabilities.
